The Nocturna Sentinel Ultra Handheld Night Vision Camera is the most sophisticated camera in Nocturna’s Sentinel range. Unlike the Nocturna Sentinel and Sentinel Pro, this camera is able to record the footage it has captured.

This camera features a 10 to 100m focus and identification range and is able to provide clear infrared imaging. The footage captured using this night vision camera can be viewed in real time on the 2.4-inch (63mm) LED display or may be recorded via the touch of a button and downloaded to a PC using the integrated USB port.

Video captured using the Nocturna Sentinel Ultra Handheld Night Vision Camera can be used as legal evidence. Therefore this camera may function as a viable alternative to CCTV cameras. Its handheld design also means that it provides the user with a higher level of immediate protection from unseen threats and/or hazardous, allowing it to serve as a personal security camera.

Like the Sentinel Pro, the Sentinel Ultra includes a backlight and illumination adjustment; the user is, therefore, able to adapt the camera to his/her needs or environment. This makes the Nocturna Sentinel Ultra ideal for wildlife surveillance as it allows users to view covertly scenes which may otherwise be hidden in darkness.

Finally, the compact, lightweight, handheld design of this camera combined with its 10-100m range means that it may also be used to particular effect during search and rescue operations.
